Exclusive screening of Death Stranding 2: On The Beach. Hideo Kojima ed Geoff Keighley to celebrate game's release
During a special screening of Death Stranding 2, new gameplay footage was shown, including the game's opening sequence. A fight scene with the character Tomorrow also made quite an impression.

Just over 2 weeks before the release, a special screening of Death Stranding 2: On The Beach was organized, hosted by Geoff Keighley, ed by none other than Hideo Kojima. He talked a bit about the game itself, its development in recent years, and also presented some gameplay materials. The whole thing lasted almost an hour and a half, and you can watch the video of the stream below.
The most important moments of the show
During the event, we got to watch a live gameplay sequence (42nd minute) where Sam and Lou trek through a mountain range in Mexico. We also see spider-like creatures wandering around there, as well as a strong earthquake that causes an avalanche and forces the player to maintain balance.
One of the most impressive parts is the one showing Tomorrow's fight - the character played by actress Elle Fanning. The cutscene shows her deadly powers, with which she effortlessly defeats opponents. You can watch it below.
They also showed some fighting scenes during the gameplay (around the 51st minute). Sam ends up in a strange burning place, where he has to face Neil (strongly resembling Solid Snake) and his soldiers. They presented how different weapons work, from rifles and shotguns to grenade launchers, and also how to attack from hiding. The surroundings, filled with shooting fireworks, also make quite an impression.
During the show, we could also see behind the scenes of music creation with vocalist Woodkid and Elle Fanning, as well as listen to statements from special guests.
Death Stranding 2: On the Beach will be released on June 26 exclusively on PlayStation 5.
