How to defeat Jackenstein in Deltarune. All you need to know

Defeating Jackenstein in Deltarune made easy
Deltarune continues the legacy of fullscreen is not as obvious as it should be. Due to that ambiguity, defeating some enemies can be really tricky. If you have got to chapter 4 only to be scared by Jackenstein, you will have to face your fear and defeat that opponent to progress further. How to do it?
It is said that offense is the best defense… in case of Jackenstein it’s exactly the opposite. This fight requires you to constantly select “defend” option and keep getting through dark 2D mazes to find an exit. First though, you will have to find a key to unlock a way out, collecting glowing dots on your way like Pacman to build up TP, or Tension Points. Be careful – to add… tension, at some point a pumpkin will start to chase you, making the unusual fight harder.
After collecting enough of that resource, Kris will be able to use a skill that’s located in the “act” menu called “unleash”. It costs 60% of the TP to use it once. With that ability used, you will be able to actually counterattack Jackenstein, putting him on defense in a real Pacman fashion – charge at him. Bear in mind that it is not enough to use it once and go on with your day. It will take several uses of “unleash” to finally beat the boss and continue with chapter 4. It may take several tries, but you will get it, eventually.
With how big success Deltarune appears to be, it is a shame that Xbox players are left out, yet nothing is impossible, and, at some point in the future, they might be able to experience the new tales created by Toby Fox. Who knows, maybe it will be even part of Game , so be patient. Good luck!
