Overhype Studios. Quite unexpectedly, the latter team announced a new game today.
Menace - for that is its title - will be a tactical RPG set in a dark sci-fi world, inspired by action movies from the 1980s and 1990s. Players will lead a marine strike force, which - moving between planets - will have to reach the farthest border of space to restore order and face a mysterious enemy.
"Menace takes everything that was loved in Battle Brothers and improves on it tenfold, offering a new, fully 3D engine, as well as a fresh take on turn-based tactical gameplay that will push the genre further than ever," the press release reads.
Menace is scheduled for release in 2024 on PC (Steam and Epic Games Store). Among the units to be controlled will be infantry, tanks and mechs. The trailer below will tell you more about Overhype Studios' game.
