Minecraft Earth is history. The mobile spin-off of one of the best-selling games of the world has just disappeared from mobile devices.

The the highly popular sandbox game disappeared from digital distribution, and players can not run the installed app anymore.

The failure of Minecraft Earth is partly to blame for the coronavirus pandemic that swept the world just a few months after the game's debut. Also the problematic launch didn't help, not to mention the competition from Pokemon GO (and other productions by Niantic). In this situation, even the innovations introduced in subsequent updates proved to be insufficient.

Of course, fans of Minecraft do not complain about lack of other attractions. Recently fully debut in the coming months (the game is already available to some customers as part of a soft-launch).
