PoE player fills in for SuitSizeSmall with daily Labyrinth layouts while she’s taking a break

While SuitSizeSmall recovers, someone else is helping us with lab runs in Path of Exile. A Reddit has started sharing daily layouts to keep the community going in the meantime.

Daily challenges are nothing new in free-to-play games, and Path of Exile has its own version with the procedurally generated Labyrinth, full of traps, puzzles, and tough boss fights. It’s a must-do if you want to unlock Ascendancy classes or score some powerful enchantments. But if you don’t feel like wandering around blindly, you’ll want a guide that lays out the best paths, key rooms, and everything in between. That’s where PoELab comes in. It’s the go-to site for all things Lab, originally run by SuitSizeSmall. She’s been keeping it updated daily for over nine years, but now that she’s taking a break, someone else has stepped up to keep the torch burning.

Temporary PoE Lab layouts are here!

If you’re someone who checks PoELab regularly, you’ve probably noticed the daily Lab layouts haven’t been going up as consistently lately. That’s because SuitSizeSmall, the longtime mastermind behind the site, recently shared a bit of what’s been going on and why there’s been a slowdown. Here's what she has to say:

Thank you for the kind words. Starting 4/8 lab notes will be inconsistent while I continue to recover my mental health.

I will map them out when I feel like I can prioritizing the higher difficulty labs. This will mean days may be skipped and some days not all labs will be done.

Thank you again for the and understanding.

So, someone else has stepped in to help out and fill the gap. Mythikdawn posted today (May 11, 2025) on Path of Exile subreddit with their version of today’s Lab layouts for all difficulty levels to help the community out. They’ve mentioned that SuitSizeSmall’s maps are higher quality and recommend using hers when available, but for now, they’ll be posting quicker, simpler walkthrough to keep things moving.

The maps may miss some optional content like secret rooms, but they’ll be updated daily around 6-7 PM Pacific to players. It’s great to see the community come together during this time, and we all wish SuitSizeSmall the best in her recovery.

Been with gamepressure.isosite.org since 2019, mostly writing game guides but you can also find me geeking out about LEGO (huge collection, btw). Love RPGs and classic RTSs, also adore quirky indie games. Even with a ton of games, sometimes I just gotta fire up Harvest Moon, Stardew Valley, KOTOR, or Baldur's Gate 2 (Shadows of Amn, the OG, not that Throne of Bhaal stuff). When I'm not gaming, I'm probably painting miniatures or iring my collection of retro consoles.
