Baldur’s Gate II: Shadows of Amn for PC is the sequel to Baldur’s Gate developed by BioWare. It takes the players to Forgotten Realms which are full of adventures, intrigue and fierce combat, and where your fate is written with sword and magic. The sequel continues the epic story of the Child of Bhaal. This time around, the fate took the protagonist and his companions to the south of the Sword Coast, to the land of Amn. They were kidnapped by a powerful mage, Jon Irenicus. After they had escaped his dungeon, both Irenicus and Imoen, step sister of the protagonist, are captured by the Cowled Wizards. That leaves you in an unknown city with the mission of rescuing Imoen and defeating the evil Irenicus.
The game is based on the second edition of Advanced Dungeons & Dragons. It is possible to import your character from Baldur’s Gate which gives you a level boost from the very start.
