Chocobo's Mystery Dungeon: Every Buddy! is a funny RPG, in which the players take on the role of the iconic feathered creature known from the Final Fantasy series - the so-called chocobo. The production is a spin-off of the famous jRPG series and a continuation of Final Fantasy Fables: Chocobo's Dungeon from 2008. Square-Enix (also responsible for Octopath Traveler) is responsible for its creation.

Mechanics

Chocobo's Mystery Dungeon: Every Buddy! is quite an unusual representative of the jRPG genre. The rules governing the game are simple - when controlling our charming hero (the game world is observeed from isometric perspective) we travel through randomly generated dungeons, kill monsters (combat uses a turn-based system), acquire items and progress our character. At the same time, we are gradually discovering the story prepared by the devs. The unique feature of Chocobo's Mystery Dungeon: Every Buddy! is that the world moves only when our chocobo does.
