A fighting game with elements of TPP platform game, made in the style of such games as the Super Smash Bros. series. In Divine Knockout (DKO), we play characters from myths and legends who engage in fierce duels in a variety of arenas.
Divine Knockout (DKO) is a fighting game with platform game elements, keeping in the spirit of such games as the Super Smash Bros. series. The production was developed by Red Beard Games studio, and its release was handled by Hi-Rez Studios.
Unlike in other games of this type, in DKO we do not observe the action from the side, but from a third-person perspective (TPP). Game offers a number of characters drawn from myths and legends, such as Hercules, King Arthur and Thor. Impersonating one of them, we take part in fierce skirmishes, fighting for victory alone or cooperating with our team. The clashes are extremely dynamic, and during them we cover enemies on the ground and in the air.
Individual heroes differ from each other through the weapons they use and their combat skills. For example, Hercules makes use primarily of his own arms and legs, King Arthur fights with Excalibur, while Thor wraps enemies with Mjolnir. As we progress, we can modify the appearance of the characters, adapting them to our preferences.
The battlefields themselves, on the other hand, are not just a backdrop for the battles we fight - each of them has a specific feature, the skillful use of which can tip the balance of victory to our side. Some are destroyed over time, while others are filled with deadly traps.
DKO offers only a multiplayer mode (the title features cross-play). The game allows both one-on-one battles and taking part in clashes between two teams of two or three players. In addition to the classic battles, during which we do everything to weaken our opponents and then push them out of the arenas, other modes, such as King of the Hill, are waiting to be tested.

I may have jumped on the Divine Knockout (DKO) train a bit late but holy hot darn, am I having fun with it! From a varied cast of different-playing gods to a spectacular cartoonish game world and phenomenally fun gameplay; you'll have a great time with DKO.

From what I’ve played of Divine Knockout I think its going to be a lot of fun while it lasts. I am always wary of getting behind Hi-Rez games because they have a habit of going hard on this project when they are popular but then will peter off and eventually die thus killing the game. Outside of Smite I think their other two big franchises Paladin’s and Rogue Company are on life . I am rooting for them with Divine Knockout though, its easy to pick up nature and attractive art style will hopefully help it to garner an audience that will allow it to stand the test of time, or at the very least until they can put my man Zeus in the game, once I can get him they can do what they want.

Divine Knockout is great fun and a fresh take on the Smash Bros style of brawler. It’s quite limited at the moment, there’s only six arenas and eight fighters at launch, but hopefully the makers at Red Beard Games will improve that over time with promised new content.
