Endless Dungeon is a science-fiction roguelike RPG from the Amplitude studio. The game takes us to the long established Endless universe, known from Endless Space or Endless Legend.
Endless Dungeon is a sci-fi game with an isometric view, which was created by Amplitude studio. The developers set the game in the Endless universe, the same one in which most of their previous games are set. Developers from Amplitude are mainly known for their strategy games, i.e. Dungeon of the Endless. Endless Dungeon takes us to the space station, the secrets of which we will discover with our three-member team.
Endless Dungeon starts when we land on an ancient and mysterious space station due to a spacecraft breakdown. It turns out that it is already inhabited by other survivors who are stuck on it, as we are. The only chance for rescue is to uncover all the secrets of the facility, and for this we must gather a team.
Endless Dungeon belongs to the roguelike genre, as sometimes happens in games of this kind, the developers invite us to many approaches, reboots, and also to experiment with team selection. This is highlighted by the fact that, after death, our team is resurrected, without having to load saved game.
We have 12 characters to choose from, each with a different story, skills and character. Our task is to choose complementary characters and equip them accordingly.
The key elements in the game are the doors separating the successive locations at the station: you never know what will jump from behind them. When opening them, you must always be prepared to fight.
Our goal is not only to survive and defeat our enemies, but also to protect the crystal we have with us, the loss of which means a failure.
This is a single player game, but you can also play it in cooperation mode (either on the couch or via the Internet) with two friends.
