Release Date: September 23, 2013
A soccer simulation game, and the 21st installment in the FIFA series. The game was created by EA Canada development studio. As always, you can control players from your favorite teams in matches against living opponents or computer AI. FIFA 14's data base contains 15 thousand footballers from several dozen leagues from all over the world.
“FIFA 14” is the next installment of the best-selling sports simulation series developed by Electronic Arts. Moreover, the game is licensed by the International Federation of Football Association (FIFA). The developers at EA Canada managed to keep the one-year production cycle tradition and introduced evolutionary changes.
Players manage their favorite football players from around the world competing in friendly, league or cup matches. The game’s database contains the names of over 15k players from dozens of countries. As usual, the game includes clubs from the most prestigious leagues.
Available gameplay options enable competing with computer AI or live opponents. Following current trends, developers also took care of social features relating to EA Sports Football Club network module.
The gameplay of “FIFA 14” is based on solutions already tested in previous games, although the developers introduced a number of innovations designed to improve the attractiveness of virtual struggle on the football field. Ball physics has been significantly modified, making the ball behavior more realistic and predictable. The shooting system has been completely remodeled as well. Football players, if they have the opportunity to do so, adjust their step, speed and angle of ball approach to give the best shot towards the rival goal.
“FIFA 14” offers greater control over the flow of the game and action in the middle of the pitch, allowing you to dictate the pace of the match. Moreover, developers have introduced some improvements, e.g. increasing AI of team partners, adding curveballs and dribbling on the run and a wider range of available defensive tactics.

Game Ratings for FIFA 14 Video Game.
Twinfinite: 4 / 5 by Alex Castro
Its few flaws aside, FIFA 14 is a great game and an even better soccer simulator. The improved EA Sports Ignite physics engine makes a world of difference, and allows for a very realistic and enjoyable experience that all types of gamers can find some enjoyment in.
Eurogamer: 8 / 10 by Tom Bramwell
If you can look past that and get over the through-balls, though, FIFA 14 on next-gen is the best version of the game. Modes like Career, Ultimate Team and Seasons are well thought out and will happily consume many hours of your time as you tinker and experiment, and while matches often follow a familiar pattern, it helps that that pattern is fast, exciting and frequently spectacular. It would be nice to see changes that allow for greater variation in build-up play next year, but in the meantime FIFA 14 with better dribbling and nerfed headers will do nicely.
PlayStation Universe: 9 / 10 by Adam Dolge
With FIFA 14, EA Sports has the reigns of the soccer industry firmly within its grasp, delivering a prominent title that will appease the large majority of fans of The Beautiful Game.
