Mechanics

In Gato Roboto the action is shown from the side. The game is about completing vast labyrinth-like levels. According to the rules of the genre, in order to get to the locked rooms, we must first get certain equipment.

It is worth noting that soon after the adventure begins, Kiki gets access to an armed mech. With time we can equip it with, for example, a rocket launcher, which destroys less durable walls, or even a special module that enables us to perform double jumps. Moreover, thanks to the weapons it uses, we can eliminate opponents standing in our way; not only common adversaries like frogs or worms, but also much more powerful bosses, such as a mouse with a similar machine.

At certain moments, however, Kiki is forced to leave the safe cockpit. When controlling the cat directly, we must avoid numerous obstacles and avoid confrontation with the opponents. Our cat's ability to swim or climb onto elements of the environment helps us to reach our goal.
