Hokko Life is a life simulator inspired by the Animal Crossing series known from Nintendo consoles. During the adventure, players find themselves in a colorful village full of anthropomorphic animals, and their task is to expand it and help its inhabitants.
Hokko Life is a simulator inspired by the Animal Crossing series, known from the Nintendo consoles. During the adventure, the player is taken to a colorful village, inhabited by anthropomorphic characters. Robert Tatnell is responsible for the production and release of the title.
In Hokko Life, the player starts life in Hokko, a village full of anthropomorphic animals. The main aim is to expand the village and help its inhabitants.
The game places great emphasis on crafting. The player explores the village and its surroundings in search of raw materials, which can then be combined with each other in order to obtain a specific variety of objects (including furniture and clothes for the residents). While crafting an object, you can adjust it to your preferences by, among other things, changing the shape of specific elements.
During the game, the player can also build new constructions with the help of a builder residing in the village. The newly built facility should then be furnished, which allows new residents to settle in it.
The player can also grow different types of plants and then sell the crops. This is done with fields that are selected by the player.
Hokko Life also allows you to collect items. The player can grab the rod and visit local fisheries to discover new species of fish and catch insects scattered all over the area with a special net.
In Hokko Life you can only play alone.
Hokko Life has a simple and colourful graphic design.

Hokko Life, a clone of one of Nintendo's exclusive game series, will hit PC through Steam in 2020. The game is inspired by Animal Crossing, putting us in a town where we will be able to build houses, collect resources and spend time on various interesting activities.

Overall, Hokko Life is a bland shell that wants to ride the coattails of Animal Crossing without doing anything to stand out or be unique. The game could be more polished, with lag and weird choices in camera zooms, though not outright terrible enough to get mad at. While the visuals don't look bad, the music is forgettable. An average game at best, its $19.99 launch price means I can't really recommend it.
