A collection of 7 classic games - 6 fighting games and 1 beat'em up. Titles from the Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection allows us to control both Marvel's characters and famous heroes & heroines from Capcom's games. We can play alone or in offline & online multiplayer.
Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics is a compilation of seven fighting games developed by Capcom, in which we can fight as heroes of Marvel comics or other games from the Japanese publisher.
Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics consists of the following titles:
While the first three games are entirely devoted to characters brought to life by Marvel, the next four titles are crossovers, in which comic book heroes can compete with heroes and heroines created by Capcom.
Six of the seven titles included in Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics are classic 2D fighting games, in which two characters go to specially prepared arenas and fight until one of them manages to knock out the opponent.
The exception is The Punisher, being a beat'em up game. Assuming the role of the titular hero, we move to the right through various stages and fight against the adversaries attacking us.
Special additions have been prepared for the collection, such as a music box with tracks from individual games, a museum containing a wide range of artworks, or even filters that we can apply to the screen.
All games that make up the bundle Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics allow us to play alone or in multiplayer. We can play with other players locally (on a shared screen) and online. In order to ensure stable online gameplay, the authors used Rollback Netcode technology.
The compilation has been equipped with the ability to play friendly and ranked matches, as well as a special network lobby. Additionally, we can find a special training mode, or a spectator mode, which allows us to watch the games of other players. There are also global rankings to compare our scores with others.
