Release Date: February 28, 2025
A sports golf simulator from HB Studios and 2K Sports companies. The biggest novelty introduced in PGA Tour 2K25 is the brand new EvoSwing mechanic. It allows for new types of swings and influences how the ball can roll & fly. We can have fun on the golf courses alone (MyCareer mode is the main attraction) or play local / online multiplayer.
PGA Tour 2K25 is a golf sports The Golf Club, and was then renamed to PGA Tour after the rights were acquired by 2K Sports. The team behind the development of this production is HB Studios.
The pillar of gameplay in PGA Tour 2K25 is participating in golf matches, during which we embody one of the licensed professionals or a self-created character. In addition to the advanced physics engine, a new swing mechanics called EvoSwing has been implemented in the game, introducing new types of shots and ball flights, as well as the rules for rolling the balls.
The rhythm of the games is determined by the seasons (the start of a new one is equivalent to resetting the rankings), which are accompanied by content updates. The game features licensed tournaments, such as U.S. Open Championship, The Open Championship or PGA Championship.
Within the MyPlayer mode, we can create and develop our golfer, deciding on their attributes and skills, as well as equipping them with increasingly better gear, by making use of the equipment development system. The authors of the game have focused on individual elements of this aspect of the gameplay, enriching it with new functionalities.
We fight for victory either in real locations or on golf courses created independently or by other players in Course Designer mode. This mode one has been enriched with new tools, objects and types of surfaces, as well as a new camera system.
We can play PGA Tour 2K25 solo or in multiplayer mode (online or locally). For the purposes of multiplayer gameplay, a number of match types have been prepared, including Stroke Play, Match Play and Scramble. The pillar of single-player is the career mode called MyCareer, with round simulations, training matches, and pre-tournament events.

Game Ratings for PGA Tour 2K25 Video Game.
XboxEra: 6.5 / 10 by Jesse Norris
PGA Tour 2K25 is a golf video game. It is neither offensive nor special in any way. It can be shockingly expensive vs. the amount of content on offer, starting at $70 and going all the way up to $120. If you haven’t played a round of videogame golf in a long time it may be worth a go if you can split the cost with some friends. Outside of that, and especially if the crashing issues are happening, it’s tough to recommend.
IGN: 8 / 10 by Andrew McMahon
PGA Tour 2K25 comes back strong, with substantial changes to how it looks and plays bringing it within striking distance of the competition.
COGconnected: 90 / 100 by James Paley
PGA Tour 2K25 is slick, seamless, and pretty compelling. You’ve got a bunch of ways to play, and an endless amount of mechanical customization to mess with.
