Smooth Operators: Call Center Chaos is the work of the independent studio Andreas Heydeck Games, known primarily for its Meep series. This time, the developers from the Swedish Karlskoga decided to make a manager simulator.
The player takes on the role of the head of a small company dealing with telephone helpline services. Our task is to build a resilient call-center. This requires, on the one hand, care for good relations with customers, and on the other hand, care for high motivation and job satisfaction among employees.
The gameplay in Smooth Operators: Call Center Chaos is about office management. The player's responsibilities include hiring and firing employees, purchasing equipment, ensuring proper working conditions, motivating, building new stories and building social facilities. The economic factor is very important. Money received from customers depends directly on their number and degree of satisfaction.
The in-game control system is based on decisions made through drop-down menus. The level of difficulty faced by the player increases during the game (the larger the company and the larger the number of employees, the more decisions we have to make in a short time).
