Sumerian Six is immensely replayable, both as a whole game and individual levels. The game is not as an impeccable as the games it was so clearly inspired by, but it is very good at what it does. I did find Sumerian Six to be a little easy, even on its hardest skill setting. That said, this is a game that’s very approachable and accessible, and could be someone’s first game in the genre to acquainted. Artificer is keeping the real-time tactics genre alive with Sumerian Six, an enjoyable romp as it delves into the occult and science, and of course killing Nazi’s never gets old.

Entertainium: by Andy Johnson

While it does little that is genuinely new, and exists firmly in the shadow of its forebears, Sumerian Six is a thoroughly competent addition to the small canon of real-time stealth tactics games. It is a must-play for any fan of the genre. While Artificer were sadly subjected to job losses this year by their owner-publishers Devolver, hopefully they will have the chance to make an even stronger contribution to stealth tactics in the future.

While frayed on more than a couple edges, Sumerian Six still manages to deliver a brilliant strategy experience that nails that oh-so endangered feeling of micro-managerial mayhem.
