Plot

The action of the game takes place in the unspecified future. The plot tells the story of a unit of warriors belonging to the fantastical version of the Templar Order. It is the most elite unit in the forces of mankind, and its lethal efficiency is provided by three-meter-tall Leviathan-type armor and an unnaturally large experience gained through the ability to on memories from generation to generation.

The game's scenario revolves around the last independent human nation, known as the Star Merchants' Empire, which managed to colonize remote regions of the galaxy. After a short period of peace and prosperity, the territories of this faction begin to be invaded by the aggressive forces of an alien race known as Xeno; the Templars' duty is to defend our species.

Mechanics

Templar Battleforce , released on PC, AND and iOS, is a tactical RPG with a turn-based combat system. The campaign consists of a series of several dozen combat missions, between which we get to know the next fragments of the plot and make decisions that have an impact on the plot, ultimately leading to several alternative endings.

The game offers a tactical combat system - during the mission, we command a unit of several Templars. Our characters have different skills and we can decide which ones we want in our team. The characters gain experience, which allows them to develop their skills. We also have access to a wide range of weapons and equipment.

The missions are diverse. During the campaign, we fight both in tight spaceship corridors and on the surfaces of planets. We take part in assaults on enemy positions or in defending the indicated places. We can also infiltrate enemy structures, or solve puzzles. The game offers a variety of enemies. In addition to the Xeno race, we also have to face intelligent machines from the Narvidians faction and a group of human rebels.
