An expansion for the popular life simulation from 2014. The Sims 4: Lovestruck greatly expands mechanics related to the topic of romance and relationships with other Sims. We can visit a new city called Ciudad Enamorada and use Cupid's Corner app to look for new matches.
The Sims 4: Lovestruck is an expansion pack for The Sims 4, a life simulation game released in 2014 and the fourth installment of the best-selling series started in 2000. The DLC was developed by EA Maxis studio, which has been overseeing the development of the series from the beginning.
The Sims 4: Lovestruck significantly expands the range of possibilities related to romance. The expansion allows Sims to use the Cupid's Corner app and find matches for potential partners, and then go on dates with them. Moreover, while romancing, our characters unlock new interactions, and over time they can even become specialists in the field of romantic relationships, professionally engaged in love counseling.
It is up to us to determine what turns our Sim on and what turns them off. The choices we make not only affect how the romantic dates play out (we can play games, cuddle in bed or relax on a blanket), but also how the relationships are presented (they can be both satisfying and hot, as well as unpredictable and intense).
It doesn't end there, because the expansion also brings a new city named Ciudad Enamorada, consisting of three districts. A new parcel feature was prepared, named Singles Hangout. It attracts single Sims, or even heart-shaped furniture that can decorate the homes of our characters.
The Sims 4: Lovestruck is a non-standalone DLC, so it requires the base version of The Sims 4.
