Nobody Saves the World

Mechanics

In Nobody Saves the World the action is shown from a top-down view. During the game we explore a procedurally generated maze, fight dynamic battles with hordes of enemies, solve environmental puzzles and complete numerous tasks. The last ones allow us not only to move the plot forward, but also to gain new forms (there are eighteen in total), which our hero can take, as well as to unlock skills characteristic for each of them.

Each of the characters that Nobody turns into has strengths and weaknesses. The nimble rat, for example, can make quick attacks, the donkey can punch enemies, the turtle can fight at a distance, while the egg is very weak in its basic form, but can regenerate lost health. Although we have to spend some time in a particular form to unlock a certain skill, there's nothing to stop us asg it to another character later on. As the many abilities of different forms mesh perfectly together, over time we can make Nobody a true monster-killing machine.

Be careful though, as the stronger Nobody becomes, the more difficult enemies he will encounter on his way. This is especially true when it comes to powerful bosses; eliminating each of them requires you to learn the pattern of attacks and detect weaknesses, as well as showing dexterity and reflexes.
